About Joanne

Joanne moved to the Lower Mainland in 1988 and has called the area home ever since.



Before joining RE/MAX, Joanne served as General Counsel for Iverson Genetic Diagnostics, a Seattle area healthcare company, where she was responsible for all legal issues, contracts, government affairs and compliance. She has also served as Corporate Counsel to an international aviation company where she worked closely with sales and marketing teams, successfully completed multi-million dollar complex commercial transactions and negotiated commercial real estate leases.



Early in her legal career, Joanne also practiced civil litigation with two law firms in the Pacific Northwest. Her area of emphasis during that time was in construction, professional liability and insurance/risk claims for both individual and corporate clients.



Joanne earned her Law Degree from Seattle University School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree from Simon Fraser University.
